Please see our built to order harps page. Where ever possible we aim to build harps to order, this allowing us to give a personal and specific service to our customers.
We do however stock a small number of harps by other makers. A large number of "budget harps" are available on the market, most of which we would not be prepared to sell. However in addition to our own make we stock the harps below as being good quality, and good value.

Round back harps
This new range of round back harps which incorproate some of the best features of both celtic and modern design. They are made from rosewood and are available in a range of sizes. They are all strung in nylon and include brass semitone levers. A tuning key is included. A harp tutor book and an optional padded bag are also available separately.

EMS Gothic Harps
A new range of
gothic harps from The Early Music Shop. Made from traditional woods
and strung in nylon they are available with either 19 or 29 strings.
Price includes bag.
These are an
early style harp not suitable for the fitting of levers but with a
rich pleaseing tone. Good for early music and reenactment

EMS Rebecs
The rebec came from the Arabian 'rabob' and its origins date back to 10th century Europe. The body was carved from a single block of wood, with a soundpost fitted unless otherwise requested.
Available in three sizes
soprano (e' a d) alto (a d G) tenor (d G C).

Psalteries bowed psalteries
Supplied with bow, this simple instrument can provide hours of fun and is easy to learn. The psaltery is held in the left hand pointing away with the widest end resting against the chest. The bow is held centrally and the strings are bowed between the pins with naturals to the right and semitones to the left.
