 A new design of harp from Busy Mole Harps, and is very portable, and easy to learn and play. Based on the Roman and Greek instruments, the Lyre produces a bright sound and is ideal for beginners or re-enactors.

The lyre although noemally associated with the classical period was played up to and into medieval times and continued in common use in the Byzantine Empire

The Lyres big brother. 10 strings 29" inches tall. Flat pase and large bridge characteristic of these instruments. Common in Greek and Roman period, but has a history that pre-dates and continues after these periods

Constructed in Ash ( other woods available), with a pine sound bosrd. Steel tuning pins and brass wire strings.
