Horses Brawl have been hailed as one of the brightest young bands around. Horses Brawl formed in 2003 for a Creative Arts East tour to perform formal Elizabethan dance music, but very quickly they discovered their own rich new sound, which incorporates semi-improvised arrangements of early and folk music from Eastern and Western Europe. The trio explore unconventional techniques on their instruments producing a fascinating sound that has been described as: ‘Vibrant, engaging and completely spell-binding' (Steafan Hannigan) and, ‘An Early music group to keep an eye on' (Verity Sharp BBC Radio 3). |
