The Lyres big brother. 10 strings 29" inches tall. Flat pase and large bridge characteristic of these instruments. Common in Greek and Roman period, but has a history that pre-dates and continues after these periods This instrument in currently held by the Bosworth Battlefield trust. Constructed in Ash ( other woods available), with a sprucesound bosrd. Steel tuning pins and brass wire strings. For Gut strings please add gut strings from the end of the lyre section.
